Another commission to color for
 ...these are kind of nonstop, huh? Hahaha  Anyway, had fun with this one and WOULD'VE had it done earlier, but I was sick last week with a low-grade fever that just lingered and lingered. Anyway, here it is! This was an interesting piece to tackle in color since...well the general common color for a stage curtain is red...but given that Bayani is red, I had to figure out how I was going to separate my planes. Voila. I decided that since Zatanna's outfit is a cool color naturally, I would 'cool' Bayani's red off by lightsourcing from the magic smoke and that fun jazz. I must admit, however, I have lurking in one of my many notebooks around here about five pages of a rather silly little story wherein Modern Samurai gets Portal'd to the DC universe chasing some Council troops, and promptly runs into none other than Power Girl. It probably won't ever see the light of day, but in my own defense, I was bored when I started writing it and it's amazing what craziness seems like a good idea at 0200 while you're on guard duty on a PATRIOT missile site that's behind three other layers of security on a well-established base in a country where the people are at least nominally supportive of your presence.
